लखनऊ। उत्तर प्रदेश विधानसभा चुनाव के चौथे चरण की अधिसूचना बुधवार को जारी कर दी गई। इसके तहत 11 जिलों की 56 सीटों पर 19 फरवरी को मतदान होगा। इन 11 जिलों में फरु खाबाद, लखनऊ, कन्नौज, रायबरेली, छत्रपति साहूजी महाराज नगर, हरदोई, उन्नाव, फतेहपुर, प्रतापगढ़, बांदा और चित्रकूट शामिल हैं।

राज्य के मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी उमेश सिन्हा ने संवाददाताओं को बताया, "चौथे चरण की 56 सीटों के लिए नामांकन प्रक्रिया बुधवार को शुरू हो गई। यह एक फरवरी तक चलेगी। दो फरवरी को नामांकन पत्रों की जांच की जाएगी और चार फरवरी तक नाम वापस लिए जा सकेंगे।"

सिन्हा ने बताया कि चौथे चरण में मतदाताओं की कुल संख्या करीब 1.72 करोड़ है। इस चरण में मतदान के लिए 12,821 केंद्र बनाए जाएंगे। नामांकन के लिए रिटर्निग अधिकारी के कक्ष में प्रत्याशी सहित अधिकतम पांच लोग जा सकेंगे। नामांकन स्थल के 100 मीटर के दायरे में केवल तीन वाहन ले जाने की अनुमित होगी।
